Digital Media Specialist

JOB SUMMARY:
Digital Media Specialist will work with the Digital Media & Content Manager to conceptualize, execute and deliver engaging content all across digital media platforms. Monitor member engagement and lead strategic implementations to support current and new membership needs. Coordinate social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day digital activities. Become an advocate for the organization in all social media platforms.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION
- Responsible for fulfilling in-house content requests for specific projects and any other digital-based projects. This is done by coordinating with professional photographers and videographers, conducting searches for photo or video needs relevant to content related marketing campaigns, and/or capturing photo or video creative that are not fulfilled via freelance submissions.
- This includes ensuring all digital assets meet or exceed brand standards and are of the required resolution or dimensions, etc.
- Responsible for maintaining professional relationships with freelance photographers, videographers, and editors.
- Create and shoot video content and edit sponsor provided assets, including but not limited to RMEF Films, Shop RMEF, Gear 101, general advertisements, membership campaigns, events, Bugle magazine, and non-department requests as approved by supervisor.
- Create, manage and coordinate photo or video request documents for content production with input from creative service, publications and marketing staff.
- Assist with strategizing, coordinating, planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns that include website, social media, and email platforms.
- Manage and expand community and sponsor and influencer outreach efforts.
- Monitor and listen to and respond to community who engage with RMEF on digital platforms.
- Analyze metrics to enhance social strategies as needed.
- Develop topics and mission-based themes that resonate with membership on social platforms.
- Responsible for maintaining RMEF camera and studio production equipment. Request updates/repairs when appropriate to ensure the highest quality assets are produced.
- Identify and provide to supervisor areas where RMEF digital assets may be improved and strategize/develop creative solutions/suggestions where necessary.

EDUCATION

Customer Response Data Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Customer Response Data Coordinator is responsible for the processing of member and donor benefits to be fulfilled by the distribution center, the creation of batches for RMEF’s donor/member database and financial systems, and will provide day-to-day processing of inbound mail that comes through RMEF’s direct mail programs. This position works directly with the member services department, distribution center and membership marketing department to ensure the processing of benefits is accurate and timely. This position will also provide customer support, when needed, that includes answering phones and emails to ensure all members’ needs are prioritized and met.
Essential functions include all or part of the following tasks:
- Process RMEF membership incentives in an accurate and timely manner for new and existing members. This includes incentives for members who are acquired, renewed or upgraded through our membership and event programs. Process and order event sponsor incentives, and work closely with the distribution center throughout fulfillment process.
- Coordinate member and donor benefit fulfillment for all non-major gifts. Ensure thank you letters, cards, premiums and lists are generated and forwarded within stated processing standards for all gifts received from $5-$499. Donor benefit fulfillment may include acknowledgement through correspondence, premium/plaque delivery and recognition displays.
- Process inbound renewals and direct mail responses. This includes presorting, mail, opening and scanning mail on Opex scanners, keying transactions and uploading and processing membership data files.
- Work and communicate directly with the member services coordinators regarding premium benefit availability for fulfillment. Provide reports and updates on any backordered items or backlogged shipments in the distribution center.
- At the direction of supervisor, work with member services to provide customer service support when needed. This may include but is not limited to answering phones and/or emails, placing orders for members or handing retail returns/refunds.
- At the direction of supervisor, process non-membership related payments in deposit-only batches including all necessary paperwork. Also assist in the cash deposits.
- Ensure proper retention and storage of processed checks, credit card and personal information, through both paper and digital formats.
- At the direction of supervisor, assist distribution center staff with membership fulfillment when time allows. Provide needed support to other departments when processing tasks are complete.

Regional Director of Kentucky & Tennessee

Job Summary:
Field Operations is the primary fundraising structure of the RMEF. Regional directors organize local volunteer chapters to hold fundraising events, principally banquets and assist in major gift development activities to support the continued operation of RMEF and finance elk and wildlife conservation projects.
In addition to event-related fundraising, regional directors should work with development staff to identify, cultivate and solicit potential large donations from qualified donors and prospects.
Regional directors in designated elk states serve as the chair of their respective state project advisory committee from which conservation project recommendations are developed for RMEF funding.
Essential Functions:
- Form RMEF fundraising chapter committees comprised of local volunteers.
- Organize, guide and assist chapter committees with the planning, organization and execution of successful fundraising events, including big game banquets, to meet annual goals and objectives.
- Actively utilize key RMEF volunteers, including regional, state and district chairs, to assist in the identification and formation of new chapters and planning and execution of fundraising events.
- Utilize regional and state chairs to ensure volunteer compliance with RMEF operating and financial policies and reporting procedures.
- Personally solicit and/or work with development staff to secure large donations in addition to banquet revenues.
- Prepare annual fundraising income projections and operating expense budget proposals.
- Maintain liaison and professional visibility with state wildlife agencies, federal wildlife and land management agencies, university wildlife departments and non-governmental conservation organizations, sportsmen’s groups and outfitter/guide associations within assigned region.
- Serve as chair of RMEF state project advisory committee within assigned region to coordinate the recommendation of specific conservation projects for RMEF funding.
- Promote the goals, objectives and accomplishments of RMEF through the media and public speaking engagements, as assigned.
- Represent the RMEF at various meetings, functions and public relations opportunities, as assigned.
- Submit news items concerning RMEF activities to the appropriate RMEF communications staff.
- Answer correspondence about RMEF activities and programs within assigned region.
- Maintain all records and submit reports as required by the director of field operations.
- As a regional director, you are responsible for compliance with state non-profit and charitable fundraising laws and requirements, including but not limited to, raffles, drawings, games or other fundraising situations.
- Keep the director of field operations fully informed on all pertinent matters within assigned region.
- Regional director will be responsible for working with key volunteers in establishing a state leadership team and together formulating and following a state action plan annually, as well as conducting an annual volunteer training workshop and recognition program. The regional director will serve on the state leadership team and oversee the solicitation, review and recommendation for approval process of the state grant program.

Job Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for the coordination of specific components related to membership marketing campaigns (acquisition, fundraising, renewal and upgrades). Primary responsibilities include, facilitating prize fulfillment, developing creative elements for online landing pages, implementation of direct mail campaigns, running list pulls and reports. Additionally, this role will maintain the annual due date schedule for all components of the membership direct mail program.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct direct mail data list pulls including renewal, upgrades and Bugle magazine. Coordinates data, list criteria, creative presentations and performance metrics for review by supervisor.
- Assist with implementation of direct marketing projects, as determined by supervisor, including, but not limited to, direct mail, email, advertising, trade shows and promotions.
- Provide campaign forecasts for response rates, fulfillment schedules and budgets.
- Generate general membership analysis and reports related to direct marketing programs as requested by supervisor. Provide input for additional analysis and reporting.
- Provide monthly cost reports and other reports, as requested, to the Accounting department.
- Conduct drawings for winners of direct response marketing sweepstakes campaigns and other department prize drawings. Facilitate prize fulfillment and provide customer service to respective parties.
- Work with supervisor to plan all elements of direct marketing programs including data needs, budget, timeliness, strategy, themes, copy, artwork, list usage, testing and fulfillment processes.
- Help develop campaign creative elements and review proofs for direct marketing campaigns as assigned by supervisor.
- Work with supervisor to develop creative elements for campaign online landing pages. Assemble all cost profiles, campaign reports, premium setup for all online initiatives. Monitor online pages for issues and areas of improvement.
- Work with supervisor in reviewing monthly responsibility reports. Ensure monthly expenses and revenue are hitting correct cost centers and analyzing unknown costs.
- Create and maintain membership team annual due dates calendar. Conduct weekly department meeting and communicate deadlines among team.
- Monthly seed tracking and maintenance.
- Stay current on postal regulations, industry trends and competitor activity. Help identify new and cost-effective opportunities for membership promotions.
- Work with Bugle team and field staff to obtain and renew postal permits.
- Assist with development of online donation and/or premium packages.
- Assist with proofing direct mail materials throughout various production stages, including initial proofs, plate proofs, variable data and insertion proofs. Help ensure accuracy of print specifications through Creative Service job requests, printer quotes and proofs.
