Wildlife officials need your help finding who is responsible for poaching a cow elk near Orofino, Idaho, approximately 40 miles east of Lewiston.
Conservation officers with the Idaho Fish and Game Department say someone illegally shot the elk sometime around April 15-17, 2020, along Grangemont Road near Campbellās Pond. A butchered cow elk carcass showed up along Cottonwood Creek Road at the intersection of Kettenbach Grade shortly thereafter. Wildlife officials believe it is the same animal.
