MISSOULA, Mont. — Thanks to decades of support, Les Schwab Tire Centers helped raise more than $3.1 million dollars in lifetime funding to further the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation’s mission of ensuring the future of elk, other wildlife, their habitat and our hunting heritage.

“It takes significant funding to make on-the-ground conservation happen,” said RMEF Managing Director of Field Operations Kirk Murphy. “One of the reasons we have had great success over the years at our banquets is because of partners like Les Schwab. To the entire Schwab organization, we express a sincere, ‘Thank you!’”

Les Schwab Vice President, Store Operations Greg L’Hommedieu said his company has a 70-year history of earning customers’ trust.

“We have a profound commitment to service, which includes giving customers more for their money and serving our communities,” L’Hommedieu said. “Our small-town roots and deep experience supporting farmers, ranchers and families runs in our DNA. It’s important to us to also support the wildlife and habitats our communities depend on.”

In 2024, Les Schwab supported more than 120 RMEF banquets in California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming with $1,500 prize certificates for a set of tires. Each raffle/drawing winner will be able to size the tires to his or her specific vehicle.

The Bend, Oregon-based company also supports communities across the West and Upper Midwest through toy drives, school-supply programs, extensive investment in youth activities such as 4H and athletics, and tire donations to nonprofits through its Tires for Purpose program.

*More details and drawing/raffle regulations will be available from the select RMEF chapters. Tires sized to vehicles/rims not included.
