Below is a Facebook post from Shoshone-Bannock Tribes Fish & Game. For 2023-2025, Fiocchi partnered with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation to increase the visibility of poaching incidents in an effort to reduce poaching.
Attention tribal hunters: we are seeking your help in finding the individual or individuals responsible for killing two bull elk in the Narrows area. (southeast of Blackfoot, Idaho). They cut both heads off both bulls and took the hind quarters from one of the bulls. The rest was left to waste. We suspect this happened November 1st or early November 2nd.
This is not acceptable by our office, the Tribe and nor should it be acceptable by our hunters. There is a reward available for any information leading to the conviction of the persons responsible. We appreciate your assistance.
