A Wyoming game warden came across an all-too-familiar sight this time of year—two bull elk sparring in the sagebrush. The problem was they could not be separated because their antlers were interlocked.
Kim Olson loaded up the rifle, shot and tranquilized the two animals, and then separated their antlers after the drugs took effect. Once the bulls regained their senses, each of them jumped off and trotted off.
